Gave this to my wife for our anniversary 💕 We had friends over and laughed til we cried 😢Great gag gift

Doesn't work. It did 1 slight motion then stopped completely. Can't get it to move anymore. It does "talk" but the parrot doesn't have any animation. Trying to figure out how to send it back and order something else.

There was this hope that this item would function similar to one a relative has. The item description seemed to convey such. I did read some of the one star reports, but felt maybe they were over stated. Now I am joining their ranks. The reason (also why it was returned) is that the microphone is sensitive enough to pick up noises made (cough, table bumped, dishes rattled). However the quality of the microphone is poor, so all that you get is the bird squawking noise with some tweets thrown in. It lasted an hour on the table before the decision was made to return it.

This thing is a riot. If you read and follow the directions it does more than just repeat what you say. It has a little song and dance act and you can put your own sayings into it I set it up to hurl funny insults at my sisters at a party. One of those toys that the kids love and the adults are laughing even harder than the kids.

Not happy with the item because nothing moves on the item like discription says. So I did not gift it.
