Review: Very difficult to Assamble - I paid for assembly to a company recommended by desertcart I paid They called next day They said we don’t know how to assemble it Review: Cheap quality - Just assembling this now and stopped to post a review before even finishing it. There are deep cracks and breaks in the wood that have been painted over. This means that in the production phase instead of discarding a .65 cent piece of wood because it’s broken, they just decided to use it anyways. Very poor QC Going to be lots of deep sliver potentials for my kids so I’ll have to sand it down, glue/ patch it and then paint match it. Not worth the time or effort. Interested to see how this would age out in the weather as well, due to all the deep cracks in the wood. One would assume it going to swell up and split even further. Other than that it’s great though ## Features - ADVENTURE AWAITS - Young swashbucklers are sure to love the KidKraft Pirate Sand boat, large enough for multiple children to play together. It seemed to fill it up nice and accounted for some of the sand that ended up out of the sandbox while they were playing. Also, I recommend getting the regular sand. The white sand does not blend in well with the ground around the sandbox when it gets spilled over. **Q: How much sand 50 lbs bags does it hold to fill it up to the fullest?** A: We used 6 50 lbs bags... **Q: Could I fit a toddler bed in there? My son really loves boats** A: I don't think a toddler mattress would fit inside but a bunch of pillows might be fun. May be too wide for a mattress. **Q: Is there a bottom?** A: no it dosent. but it makes it easier to move . we just put plastic down . we have had ours about 3 years now. cover the sand so animals dont poop in it. also in the winter cover the whole thing. keeps the paint nicer. one winter we moved it into the garage and put beans in it and the kids loved to dig in there . ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Very difficult to Assamble *by A***B on 24 November 2022* I paid for assembly to a company recommended by Amazon I paid They called next day They said we don’t know how to assemble it ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheap quality *by M***. on 2 September 2023* Just assembling this now and stopped to post a review before even finishing it.
