Review: I love these things. I hang a lot of plates on my walls cuz I'm a 90 year old in a 30 year old's body. This one is great, fits my 8 inch plate perfectly. When it's up on the wall you can't even see the hooks (check out pic). The way you put it onto the plate is in the second picture. It also has a wall hook and nail you can use to hang it to make it super sturdy. Very happy with it

**Q: Will it fit a 10.5 inch plate?**
A: Nope! I ordered for a 10-in plate and almost put my eye out trying to put it on. It is more for an 8-in plate or smaller.

**Q: Will these plate hangers work well on plates measuring 8.5 inches?**
A: It should.  My plates are 8 1/2 inch.

**Q: I have a rectangle shaped hand painted trivet-will it work on a rectangle?**
A: yes, as long as it is not too big

**Q: How much weight can this hold? i have a large platter 16'' w x 1.25'' h x 12'' d earthenware that may weight 2-3 pounds. maybe 4 lbs**
A: There are several factors to be considered. 1) The size of the plate. This item is for  plates 8”- 11” so it might be too small or if it is very wide you might want to consider using 2 plate hangers. 2) How thick the edge of the plate is. It should need to be able to fit into the curved ends of the hanger. And 3) The strength and manner of the picture hanger. The hanger is what will need to carry the weight. As the description states this item "Includes 30 lb. Hillman professional Brass picture hanger"
