**Q: is it a real seiko?**
A: Yes, its real.

**Q: Made in China?**
A: The movement is made in Japan. The case and leather watch band were probably made in Malaysia or China,  The watch works great and keeps good time.

**Q: can a different band, not leather such as stainless be attached? if so, what size?**
A: Lug width is 20mm. Sorry, but I just can't answer your question about using stainless or a non leather band. I have kept the leather band on my watch.
