Our Dr. recommended it to him because it's the same as the old version of Kaopectate which you can no longer find in the store **Q: What is the percentage of kaolin? does not show on ingredient list. only pectin shows with 0.8%. most of these products also have 8% kaolin.** A: sorry i can't help - I had to return it because the inactive ingredients were different than listing shows **Q: How is it administered?** A: I mix it with a little canned food and she eats it right up. My dog also eats dry food and we add a little canned food mixed in it.
