Mixed at a 1:1 by volume ratio, T-88 will cure at temperatures as low as 35ºF. When fully cured, it is unaffected by water, oil, kerosene, and many other chemicals. It will not stain wood and is immune to fungus and rot. T-88 is unique in that it may be applied to damp wood, provided it is worked well into the surface.T-88 is a high-performance, non-brittle, two-part epoxy adhesive designed to give superior results under adverse conditions. For every 18 deg above 70, the time is cut by 1/2. Example: At 88 deg you've got about 20-25 min. This glue is structural and gap-filling, even mixed with cotton flox to a consistancy of creamy peanut butter. **Q: Is this sand-able without caking up sandpaper?** A: I sanded it and it didn't gum up the sandpaper, but it was a small patch. **Q: Would this work to fill surface scratches/gnawing in bamboo flooring? Max 1/4" deep and maybe 2-3" across.** A: I believe it would fill your scratches but if they’re 1/4” deep you may have to apply second coat as the liquid will leave a low spot because of shrinking. **Q: What is the difference between 1100k10 and 1100k14 t-88?** A: I’m not sure whether there is any difference except that the kits contain different amounts. I’ve purchased both kits and didn’t notice any difference in performance or appearance. T-88 is almost the standard epoxy for building wood aircraft. I reach for it any time I need joints to be absolutely waterproof and I have the time to let it set up. You could call the manufacturer . I use it to allow the strengthening of wood that may include knots or other "imperfections" that add a ton of character, once strengthened, whether they be in board feet of lumber of in more free form wood used in woodturnings. It dries clear, but in my use I often introduce dye while mixing the resin and hardener so the result mimics the character of the wood, itself. That approach works very well, and the result is indistinguishable from the wood itself.
