Review: Good quality product as expected from bigjigs. As they are made of wood I expect they will last well and not get as easily damaged as similar items made from plastic. This was a gift and it received a positive reaction when opened as my friends little girl is really into role playing at the moment and is setting up a little shop! Review: I’m really impressed with this wooden play set! Both sides of the items are painted. We bought the Mel&Doug grocery store for my daughter, and the cardboard food wasn’t working. I made the mistake of purchasing their brand of wooden food, only to find that one side has an image. This set however is really cute, solid, and great quality. Definitely recommend! You get more pieces & the sprinkles were a big hit too! ## Features - Little ones can fill up their grocery store or cupboards with this colorful set of wooden groceries - Wooden groceries include: biscuits, tea bags, beans, pasta, cornflakes, rice & more! - Encourages creative and imaginative role play. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01N4571I9 | | Assembly Required | No | | Batteries Included? | No | | Batteries Required? | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #84,365 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #361 in Toy Foods | | Color | Multicoloured | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (194) | | Date First Available | 14 July 2017 | | Educational Objective(s) | Creative Thinking, Role Play | | Item model number | BJ623 | | Language | English | | Manufacturer recommended age | 0 - 18 years | | Material Type(s) | Wood | | Number of Game Players | Multiple | | Product Dimensions | 6.3 x 29.2 x 18.3 cm; 1.22 kg | | Remote Control Included? | No | ## Images ![Bigjigs Toys Wooden Cupboard Groceries - Pretend Food and Role Play for Children - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cl2DqimTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by C***C on 19 November 2019* Good quality product as expected from bigjigs. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the set is so cute! The "boxes" are painted on, and the cans do have sticker labels, that I am hopeful will stand up to play. I love the little bottles of spices and sprinkles. The flour box is about twice as thick as the other boxes which is also nice. I am sure that this set will get lots of play time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bigjigs Toys BJ623 Wooden Toy Food - Melissa & Doug Fridge Food Wooden Play Food Set - 9 Pieces Pretend Play Kitchen Accessories, For Kids Kitchen, Wooden Grocery Sets For Kids Ages 3+ - Bigjigs Toys Chilled Groceries Wooden Play Food - 11 Grocery Play Food Pieces, Quality Toy Food for Toddlers & Children, Perfect Kids Wooden Kitchen Accessories for Pretend Play --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/280674095-bigjigs-toys-wooden-cupboard-groceries-pretend-food-and-role-play](https://www.desertcart.us/products/280674095-bigjigs-toys-wooden-cupboard-groceries-pretend-food-and-role-play) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
