It’s a nice hobby if you’re not feeling particularly creative enough to make your own scratch art from scratch lol or just coming up with your own thing, since it is basically tracing. The quality of the colored paper underneath is very nice. It has a veneer/shiny colorful layer under the acrylic black. The acrylic black has a very good scratch quality, although I’m not quite sure how to describe it. I guess I’m thinking that a lesser quality would flake off into bigger chips or get scratched into the color layer below that could leave you with black specs everywhere that you can’t get, out not with this set. Like I said before, I purchased several of these sets from different manufacturers and this one definitely has the highest level of detail if that’s what you’re looking for.
