I bought it refurbished and ended up returning it because it makes a clunking noise, but had it been in tip top shape, I would have kept it as it's the best out there. It takes a bit to clean, but it squeezes the veggies down to a dry pulp.The refurbished units are a good deal here on Amazon, and I'll order another one when we get back from holidays (if they have any refurbished units available).As a side note, I had a difficult time getting my money back from Amazon. It took forever. Normally Amazon is quick with putting the money back on one's card, but not this time. That was a disappointment & I hope it's not a sign of the future. They said that this juicer was to have very low pulp in the juice but that wasn't the case for me. This juicer had a lot of pulp in the juice and to try and strain was a pain. Also the cleaning. Cleaning the machine horrible. A lot of nook and crannies to clean, just isnt worth it to me.
