**Q: Can it be pressure mounted? The companies website says "Freestanding and Pressure Mount gate. Two capabilities, one gate!" but I want confirm.**

Notice that nowhere does it say the gate can be used both ways

**Q: how many inches does it expand?**
A: The wooden part of the gate is approx 67 in at its widest point. The legs also account for a few inches.  I open it all the way and use it to perfectly secure an archway between 2 rooms. The arch is approx 69.5 in wide.

**Q: How wide is the space between each slit?**
A: Space is 2 inches between slits! 🙂

**Q: Does it swing open or slide open?**
A: There is no way to open this pet gate.  You can side it across the floor or lift it up to let your pet out.
