Review: They got it right the second time. - After downloading the app, I followed the link within it to order this phone holder to take steadier scans. got it fairly quickly, but unfortunately, the thread on the screw for the phone holder didn’t match the support arm. it was impossible to tighten the holder under the arm. It kept slipping off because the threads wouldn’t connect. I sent the item back, and after a couple of messages from the customer service people they sent me a new unit that was perfect to the relatively low price point this is an excellent solution. If you plan to scan a high number of photographs, slides, documents using the app. It holds things completely still, so you can voice activate scanning through the app’s functionality. The arm is very stiff and firm and introduces no wobble that the app has to compensate for. I really like the app, and was disappointed that the first unit didn’t work out, but they were able to rectify the situation and enable me to give this a five star review. I order a lot from desertcart, and frankly anyone can make a mistake. I wouldn’t let that count against them in my review, I wanted to mention it in case this is not a one-in-a-thousand type problem.

I bought this adjustable phone mount to digitize photos, slides and film negatives using my iPhone. I like that it is easily adjustable and holds my phone steady. It's not as sturdy as I hoped but does the job. The mount that holds my iPhone 7 + is just barely big enough to easily fit and was awkward to use. It's a tight fit. Overall it's a good solution for my purpose.
