They are organic which is huge to me and they have beneficial microbes that plants need to thrive. Other brands do not. I have a begonia that I have had for a while that really was not growing. I applied this along with fish tank treatment which neutralizes chemicals in the water. Two weeks later it had grown by leaps and bounds. It doubled in size. I also used the one for african violets. I have never done well with them. The one I had was on it's way out so I tried this on it. A couple of months later it is a deep green and much larger and it is starting to bloom. I have never had one I could get to rebloom so I am thrilled down to my toes.
