It's not shiny at all. The only difference from a regular sweatshirt I would say, is that the material is a lot thicker and more durable. That would solve the problem. **Q: Does it Shrink after tumble dry?** A: Typically I tumble dry it slightly, then lay it out to dry, flat. Using this technique, I have found no shrinkage.
