A: It does come with a 4 inch cable is is approximately 12 inches long. The cable is sheathed, and both ends have heatshrink in place.

**Q: Would it work in hp pavilion 500? fan 644724-001?**
A: If you have a 4 pin header on your motherboard it should work

Excelente ventilador, es silencioso y mueve una buena cantidad de aire, en mi caso me ha funcionado a la perfección para disminuir la temperatura; claro que por el tamaño, al trabajar bajo condiciones exigentes el ruido que genera es perceptible pero no llega a molestar.
