We minimize this by pushing the air out when closing the bag and making sure it’s zipped up tight. I didn’t notice they got hard until I bought a second bag and the jerky was so much softer than our old bag. They’ve never gotten so hard that my dog can’t chew them safely & he loves them the same no matter their hardness, so this isn’t too much of a big deal for us.
