If you can think it, you can make it in FIMO! Imagine producing keychains, little boxes and baskets, hair clips, earrings, notebook covers, placemats, pendants, brooches, fantasy sculptures and, well, more! It's all within reach with FIMO special craft clay. A blend of art, quality and fun, as only Staedtler can make it. Notes and suggestions: FIMO can be sanded and polished Already hardened FIMO elements can be baked multiple times for projects that require multiple hardening passes The hardened clay can be varnished with special FIMO paints or painted with suitable pens or acrylic and oil paints FIMO should only be washed by hand, not in dishwashers. Dishwashing detergent is too harsh and can harm the material. Holes for FIMO jewellery and beads can either be made with a needle before hardening or drilled with a hand drill after hardening. Review: The best clay for miniature foods! Or anything really! - Once you try Fimo, it's hard to go back to anything else! I use this clay to make miniature foods and other miniature objects and it is the best. It's called Fimo soft but it's still not so soft that you can't do anything with it. It is the perfect amount of hardness/softness in my opinion. I've bought lots and lots of clay from this brand and I've yet to be disappointed! 😊 If you're looking for a clay for little kids to use to just play around with and make things for fun I'm not sure this is the one you want because even though it's called soft, it may still be too hard for little kids to soften it up enough to be able to use it. But then again I guess it depends on the kid. It bakes perfectly, just follow the instructions on the back. There are so many different colors and if you're just starting out they have plenty of variety packs with multiple colors you can try. I think the price point is perfect! If you keep it wrapped in plastic when you're not using it it will last for a very long time without drying out! I have so much fun with this stuff and my daughter loves all the miniatures I've made for her. I've added some photos so you can see!

Once you try Fimo, it's hard to go back to anything else! I use this clay to make miniature foods and other miniature objects and it is the best. This is a quality product: the polymer clay is very malleable. Bakes true to color. It is easy to work with and is of a great consistency that holds it shape. My application was for flat mini-ornaments. This is very flexible and not sticky. As a person who loves Play-Doh, polymer clay is a wonderful adult hobby. This green (vert or verde), was perfect for my St. Patrick’s Day shamrock ornaments. Great color!
