I've had this on my outside shed for over a year. It has seen all the weather elements and is still working as I hoped. One recommendation I have for folks with locks that see the elements is to spray WD40--12/34 or some other lubricant down into the lock mechanism. Best is when you have the lock open and spray into the open hole where the locking arm goes into the lock itself. You wouldn't believe the difference this makes in keeping your lock working good and the tumblers turning easily.
