I may be a little picky about some deoderant scents, because a lot of them are irritating to me when they are too strong. This one is fresh smelling. It's just right. It doesn't leave any residue or anything on my clothing. I can sleep with this having just put it on. And my head/nose will be very close to my arm pits - perhaps TMI. This works well to cover any bad odors from sweat. It lasts me all day. I do a lot of walking and vigorous exercise which has me sweating, but if I have applied this in the morning, it will have covered most of the odor. Of course if I am sweating hard enough, I will need to take a shower anyway. In that case, there isn't any deoderant that would fix that.
