**Q: Tailpiece on my kitchen sink keeps coming off?**
A: No

**Q: it looks like barbs support two different diameter hoses. is is 3/4" and 1/2"?**
A: I used only in 1/2"

**Q: What is the barb diameter?  Will it work with water softener discharge tube clear, flexible vinyl 1/2" ID?**
A: It fits 3/4” hose

**Q: What is the total height of this item?**
A: Product shows a dimension of 80 which I assumed was "mm" or 3.15".  Unfortunately it is a bit longer at roughly 3.5".  Product still wasn't short enough for my 1970's plumbing with a newer/deeper sink.  Can't figure out how I'm going to connect a dish washer drain line.
