It is also stiff with the backing on so it does not easily accidentally stick to itself. The X fasten tape is very rubbery/pliable once the backing is off and it is touches itself its difficult to unstick it and not have it deform in the process. Its hard to cut, It's very stretchy, slightly higher adhesive than the 591. I'm a woodworker making duplicate shapes with patterns and the XFasten tape was time consuming and difficult to use so I have three rolls sitting in a drawer unused. Intertape 591 is my favorite. I was sing 3M double sided but after using the 591, I'll not use it again. Which has good hold but leaves some residue behind.** A: I have never used Fastcap. The x fasten didn't leave any residue on the hardwood cut on my bandsaw.
