**Q: What temperature is this rated to suppress?**
A: Hello...The Suppressor is ideal when both sound and radiant heat control is needed.  In addition to the polyethylene film, the foil surface provides direct protection from radiant heat up to 2000 Deg F and direct temperatures up to 300 Deg F.Great for areas like firewalls, floorboards, or doors. The Suppressor is also 7 mil in thickness, contains a high temperature adhesive backing, and is easy to trim & fit.thanksJamie

**Q: does this product have a bad smell?**
A: I lined the inside of the doors on my 1997 F350 about 6 months ago and I do not smell anything from the product.  I don't recall any smell while installing.

**Q: Could i put this on my window? i don't care what it looks like.  my room is like an oven!!!!**
A: Yes, but it's real aggressive adhesive and it's not going to come off very easy. Might break the window on removal.

**Q: Vendor: have van with an plastic engine doghouse. need sound-proofing and heat reducing. reading conflicting advice.  is this correct material?**
A: We have this over the doghouse in our RV and on the driver/passenger floor and it works great for heat and does reduce the engine noise some.
