My fur baby has been seeming a little board lately so I figured it was time I start changing things up and this was the perfect item to do just that! I was a very concerned if she would be able to figure out the puzzle but that was no issue I think this is an excellent starter puzzle and any pup should be able to figure out this puzzle after seeing her fly through it. Needles to say she now looks forward to feeding time! It’s added a sense of fun and excitement to her day she can look forward to which is great. I’ve even found rather than her normal chow I’ve put in yogurt, strawberries, and other foods can fit in the slots. Luckily my baby isn’t a chewer but this item is a great quality I would suspect if yours is it would be pretty durable! All in all this product is excellent and I highly recommend it. 😊

**Q: Whatbis this made of, plastic, pressed board?**
A: It is plastic.

**Q: Approximately how much food does it hold?**
A: This is in reference to the red, white, blue and yellow round puzzle s as there are many shapes.  I’d say it holds 1/4 cup. I have a 5# Yorkie. I put 1/8 cup total of eucanuba/science diet twice a day into the cups and I let her eat her food from the puzzle. She must enjoy working for her food because she will eat the food from the puzzle which is the exact same food that will sit in her bowl all day and possibly into the next. We received this puzzle yesterday so I’ve only given it to her 3 times. I’m hoping the novelty won’t wear off but it’s fairly easy for her to do.

**Q: My dog is missing a front leg. Can this work just with their nose or do they need to use a paw to open the sections?**
A: My dog almost exclusively uses her nose. The sections just slide, and can be opened with just their nose.

I bought this for my elderly dog, and it’s been really fun watching him get so active while searching for treats. The toy provides mental enrichment and keeps him engaged. One dislike is that there is a small gap between the sliding plates, so sometimes flat treats can get stuck. It’s not a big issue because a flat utensil easily removes them.
