Bought two of these last year, but didn't need them (or open the boxes) till the power went out yesterday. The blades are broken on one of them, and the screw that holds the fan part upright is stripped on the other, so it faces the floor. I was desperate so I propped it up to use it anyway. With brand new batteries, on low speed, it worked for less than 3 hours. Waste of money.
