Reviews say half bottle. False advertising??** A: It will hold a full bottle. However most people will not pour the whole bottle in at one time in order to have a greater air surface of the wine. I do half then fill it again when the first glasses have lowered the wine level. **Q: Dishwasher safe?** A: I’m sure it is because it is strong glass but I wouldn’t put it in because I can’t imagine it would clean it well without pudding the water due to it’s shape. It’s easy to clean by hand. I’m very happy with it.
