As soon as my hair gets a little length to it (just past a nice clean Caesar style), I grab this gel and either 1) brush 2) sponge or 3) finger manipulate... and BOOM!!! CURLS!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME! TIPS: a) this is a dense gel. A little goes a long way b) Using too much WILL cause flaking... and NOBODY WANTS THAT. It is very concentrated c) Personally, I scoop some out, put in in another container and add water. Shake it up and let it blend. It's the same product but not nearly as thick (a thinner consistency). For MY HAIR TYPE, this seems to be the winning ticket for my hair to cooperate best. BEST PART - you CANNOT beat the price. These jars really last bc you simply do not need much at all.
