For starters, the straps must have been taken from a child's backpack. They have no padding, and are so small that one side just hangs loose with a hook on the bottom so you can get in and out of it. When the sprayer gets low of liquid and weighs less, you tend to pop the sprayer off the hook when pumping.The part that rests against your lower back is a sharp metal edgeDespite the wand weighing a ton, the end of it was leaking within days. The hose connections leak, and so does the main seal.Overall, it's a heavy, poorly designed, leaky, uncomfortable piece of equipment.

I've been doing pest control for over a decade and for some stupid reason I decided to buy a birchmeyer backpack , the worst decision I could have ever made. The thing is junk it leaks all the time, the seals blow out. I can't believe I got suckered into buying this POS...

To date I have now purchased nine Birchmeier backpack sprayers, five of which were in the last six months. Listen very carefully because Birchmeier and it’s clients are very much aware of a chronic issue with these pack pack sprayers: the seals blow out within weeks of use. Of course, you can take the time and send them back to the manufacture but I’ve spent $1500 on products that are essentially worthless after a month. Don’t take my word for it, ask anyone in the pest-control industry. More than a decade ago this brand used to be very reputable but somebody in the top office decided to save a buck in invest in cheap seals. They’ve ruined their brand name to save one stinking dollar.

Brilliant piece of kit the only negatives I could add is the lance head coupling is nylon and doesn’t lock well against the brass when you have the bespoke spray shield attachment on the end and lastly for pity’s sake silicone oil the pump to pump handle shaft mine squeaked so badly the horses bolted out of the field , a little spray at it was all sorted but at £200 plus I shouldn’t have had too!!
