If you compare this trap with our Ouell 3-10 (black abs tube), the Ouell 3-10 is for small squirrel (chip chipmunk and red squirrel). The tube was chosen to have a smaller entrance so the chipmunks wouldn't pass without triggering the trap. For the Ouell 4-11 (this one, in galvanized steel and square in shape), we have chosen a more solid material because you have to pull the 2 bars backwards in order to have more power to catch bigger squirrels ( black and grey) so it needed a stronger casing to withstand the strain.
