**Q: Does the wrench break tension like a mechanical torque wrench or do you just stop torqueing when the sound reaches a certain pitch/frequency?**
A: Hi MoneyPit - yes, it's the latter - when the sound reaches a continuous tone, you have reached the set torque. I have used mine several times now and am very pleased with it indeed. Repeatability is necessary to maintain accuracy - with the Wheeler Digital FAT wrench you have a reliable aid to achieving maximum accuracy. Hope this was useful, Rob

**Q: Description states 2% accuracy. Is that 2% of the range or 2% of the setting?**
A: The accuracy is within +/- 2% of the displayed value.  The unit also comes with a calibration certificate.

**Q: Can it be used to loosen screws without damaging the wrench?  In other words, can it be used as a regular screw driver?**
A: We do not recommend it be used to remove screws.

**Q: Can this be used to torque reverse threads?**
A: It can measure CCW torque and beeped at the proper time, but it seemed off by 15% in the reverse direction (or maybe my torque meter is not calibrated CCW... not sure). I wouldn't trust it CCW.

I purchased this same wrench from BassProShop, but it was $100. So I found the same one cheaper on Amazon but after receiving it it does not look the same. I decided to play safe and keep the one from BassProShop and return the Amazon one. Not sure if this is a Wheeler original, a fake or some old stock non-retail item. Check out the pic. The Amazon one is on the right. The wrench works good. Its much lighter then the manual one with the spring tension.
