Looking at them online I was sceptical they'd handle daily rigours but so far they've dealt with everything I've thrown at them in kitchen AND bathroom. I think that's me done with fiddly chains and plugs! The wee suction pad on them keeps them near whatever plughole they need to be, and stabilises them when in use. The large pad covers the plug seemingly without any suction being used -I think it's using the weight of the water on it- but I always like to press in the middle to try and get it extra-sealed (whether that works or not is debatable). It does move from time to time, most often when I'm doing dishes, but it's very easy and simple to slide it back into place (the sucker stops it from drifting so it'll usually just spin on an axis); MUCH easier than trying to replace a fiddly plug if you've knocked its chain. I'm absolutely sold on these. At only a tenner for three they're cheap to try out. I dampen it slightly first then lay over plug hole and fill with with water a little more slowly at first to ensure it has sealed. I have successfully used it to bathe for about 15 mins. And it held in all of the water. **Q: Do these work on stainless steel sinks** A: I would presume so.
