Review: Good wire - “4043 0.35” , I have a “YESWelder250pro” with the yeswelder spoolgun. The yeswelder wire worked but wasn’t consistent, looked like crap no matter what. Bought another brand from the welding supplier that worked great so it wasn’t the machine. I tried this and it worked really good! Easy to weld with, fed great , and looks clean. Clean the material you’re welding on and you shouldn’t have an issue

- ER4043, commonly referred to as “AlSi5", has a 5% silicon and is the oldest and one of the most widely used aluminum welding wires for general purpose applications
- Less sensitive to weld cracking than other aluminum alloys and the 5% silicon content lowers the melting point, increases fluidity of the weld puddle and leaves a bright shiny weld deposit.
- ER4043 is commonly used for welding grades 6061, 6063, 5052, 3004, 3003 and cast alloys 356.0, 357.0, 413.0, and 443.0 to name just a few
- Melting range is 1065 °F– 1170 °F, density is 0.097 lbs/in3 and post anodizing color is gray

**Q: What are the dimension of the spool? My spool gun takes a 4" spool.**
A: The spools are 4". Generally any 1 LB spool comes on a 4" spool and fits most standard spool guns.

A: You can use this one. It is precisely the one that welders use when they don´t know the aluminum grade they are welding.

**Q: Can I use this without gas ?I have a $100.00 mig welder from Harbor freight tools and would like to use this wire with it.**
A: Hello. No, unfortunately, you need Argon to weld with this wire.

“4043 0.35” , I have a “YESWelder250pro” with the yeswelder spoolgun. The yeswelder wire worked but wasn’t consistent, looked like crap no matter what. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well with Tweco spool gun on a Rebel 215!

Had issues with the mig gun that came with my Rebel EMP215IC welder, decided to replace it with a Tweco spool gun (Tweco SG160REB-12 3035), ordered these spools of AL wire and did a few passes as soon as I got them. Welds are nice and clean and wire runs through the gun quite nice! Its slightly more expensive than my local Airgas store though, and I will just buy their Radnor brand ER4043 when I run out if the price of this doesn't come down by then. One star taken off for the higher price.
