Sharp as the dickens. Like many people reading this, t have quite a few pocket knives and this one was as sharp as they come, right out of the box. This particular steel is known to take a fine edge but not hold it too long. Anyway, for some reason I really took a liking to this little guy, but I thought the plastic scales didn't do it justice, so I made some nice bone scales and now it's one of my favorite knives. Got a bandaid for my trouble. It's sharp!Also, you can easily open it one handed, but I wouldn't try to close it that way.
