**Q: Can you carry this on your shoulder with the handles only or do you need the crossbody strap for that?**
A: You will need the crossbody strap for carrying on your shoulder.  The good news is that the hooks actually hook into the purse straight across from each other rather than at an angle.   i am very happy with my carmel colored purse, especially the little wristlet.  People think that its a Brahmin!!

Very nicely made, there's not one thread or stitch out of place. It snaps closed nicely. It's bigger than I thought. it looks more like a briefcase than I'm going to a very important business meeting. but I needed a big purse. Lots of room nice snap closures an middle zipper area. Also has a back zipper for phone. It snaps close tightly and extends if you need it, it has a long strap handle inside for to hook on to it so it would be a long strap. or you could just carry it with the short handles attached to it already. Such quality, made it comes with a little wallet or makeup bag. It has a silky lined inside as well. I definitely think this was a good price. It's a high quality made product!
