They last longer and take up less space than bottles of liquid Pedialyte. I keep a few packets in my tote bag just in case. Pedialyte is useful in treating dehydration similar to sports drinks but has fewer grams of sugar, calories, and unhealthy additives than a regular sports drink while still providing more electrolytes. If you’re like me and have a reason to use a lot of Pedialyte, this is the most economical way to buy it and most convenient way to store it. The powder dissolves easily when stirred or shaken and tastes great. It’s extremely important to use the exact volume of liquid described in the instructions so I measured out this exact volume in a beaker and then poured it into several reusable bottles and made a permanent mark at that level. This is fairly high quality: I’ve never seen it clump up before opening or leave a sludge at the bottom the way Gatorade powder does. This would be a great thing for anyone to stock up on because it meets such a universal need.
