The 100% Turkish cotton is remarkably soft on the skin. Right out of the package, they were already quite plush, but they actually fluffed up even more after the first wash. In terms of performance, the absorbency is excellent; they soak up water instantly rather than just moving it around your skin. My only minor critique is the initial lint. Make sure to wash them by themselves the first time, as they do shed a lot of fibers in the dryer lint trap initially. However, after the second wash, the shedding stopped completely, and I haven't noticed any unravelling seams or color fading.
