The 3 piece Performance SUP Paddle easily connects together and comes apart for easy storage and portability. The lightweight aluminum paddle with the Qwik Levr adjustable handle offers flexibility and versatility. The blade features glass impregnated ABS for extreme strength and rigidity. The aluminum shaft allows the paddle to float just in case you fall or drop your paddle. When adjusting your paddle generally, the paddle height should be 8-10 inches above the paddler’s height. Starting with no shoes on and arm raised, your paddle handle should sit in your palm.

After shopping aimlessly for a paddle and not finding them for less than $200 locally, I found this jewel.While I'm sure the $200 -$500 paddles really make your paddling experience much better, I think for my cheap little portable/inflatable board, this was the perfect choice.  I'm quite happy with the build quality of this and while I've seen some folks complain about various inexpensive paddles either sinking or snap holes not being machined correctly and requiring some modifications, this was not the case with this.

Allowed kids to play with our SUP.. the result -- the paddle is on the bottom of the lake.  Lesson learnt -- look for floating paddles
