However, the unit I received was in perfect condition and the packing was also adequate to protect the contents. The only design flaw, if it can be called that, is that the soft close lid does not fully reach the closed position since the friction against the trash bin with a trash bag in place props it open slightly. This could have been considered and the size of the trash bin or the inside of the lid could have been adjusted accordingly.
