Pharma Grade DMSO is a very distinctive dipolar highly aprotic organic solvent with a freezing point of 64 Deg F. DMSO by itself is actually odorless, what makes Dimethyl Sulfoxide smell and taste like onions or garlic is DMS (Dimethyl Sulfide). Industrial grades of DMSO will contain DMS and therefore give off an offensive odor. Pure Pharma Grade Dimethyl Sulfoxide is distilled and purified to remove DMS and any other contaminants leaving it odorless. All DMSO does. Dilute it with purified or distilled water, so that the water will hydrate & cool the skin. The burning sensation is temporary, 5-10 minutes for me. Everyone is different so your experience will vary. Read up on DMSO so you know how to use and apply it, and understand the temporary side effects. Just Google it or get yourself one of the books out there. Make sure your skin is clean of anything including lotions, perfumes, fabric softener, anything. **Q: My dmso book shows application to the knee with a brush.  Is there a certain kind of brush to use or a better way to apply?**
A: I use dmso in the middle of my back for a spinal injury and cannot apply it myself. Every few days my mother rubs it in while wearing a latex glove with her fingers. If you can withstand rubbing it into the affected area with a gloved hand I find this the best way to achieve maximum relief.

**Q: Is there a reason why it is in glass bottle? what type of container is it compatible? Is it ok w/ silicone? i plan to use it for vaginal douching.**
A: It is in a glass bottle for safety reasons.  I can't think of any chemicals that will permeate (i.e., leak through) glass.  Why you even ask this, I don't know.  I have not tested it on silicone.  NEVER use this for vaginal douching, nor put in your eyes, nose, mouth or rectum.  You will burn yourself very badly.  In fact, I would not recommend this product to you at all, because the questions you ask are unreasonable, and I don't think you could use this safely at all.  I don't even think you are serious about these questions.  Only a joker or a person with a very tiny brain would even ask these.

**Q: Can a CofA be requested for this product to verify purity?**
A: Yes, a COA can be reauested a purchase.

**Q: Why is this sold as "odorless" and the 1 gallon "low odor"? They look the same? Also, why not brown glass to protect from light?**
A: It stinks to high heaven.

I have Lupus so joint pain is a big problem for me and I just found out that all of my prescription medications are only safe for SHORT TERM USE!!
