The material is lite and breathable and it dries fast too. We have not felt over heated at all while wearing this, even through a heat wave. The color came just as advertised. The only thing that was a little different was the elasticity of the material. What I got is not ‘stretchy’ at all. I’ve never used a wrap style carrier before so this made it very difficult to use the first couple of times. But we got the hang of it and really enjoy it now. I’ll note that this might not be a good option for plus size women since there is no stretch to it. I’m 5’6”, 180lb, sz12 bottom, L top, pear shaped and once it was fully wrapped and tied around me, there was only about 4in of material left hanging. It came with really handy instructions with pictures that showed step by step how to wear it. Overall, I recommend.
