**Q: Does the bamboo part mold?**
A: If you don't wash and dry it right away, yes it will. Also if you aren't careful with it, the bamboo separates at the seams and will break.

**Q: Does it keep the coffee warm for awhile?**
A: Not really!  You should drink it as soon as you make it, it will stay warm like any cup of coffee

**Q: Why is it so hard to find a press with a lid insert that seals off the spout so coffee stays hot?**
A: I bought this one on Amazon and you can turn the top so that it is open to pour or closed to keep the coffee warm longer.  I have found it to be a very good purchase.
