I found a tick under his collar prior to this purchase. I’m hoping he remains tick free. He has a tracker collar on, the flea & tick collar is under his other collar. I’ve been checking him and so far there’s no reaction. No irritation, no hair loss and it doesn’t bother him, he’s unaware of it being on. You can cut the length you need. There is a whole lot left after it’s cut. Too bad it doesn’t come with another buckle. You could use it as a backup or make two collars. It doesn’t have a strong scent and when I looked it up it shows as non toxic to cats. It was fairly easy to put it around his neck. I left it extra long and tightened it as needed when it was on instead of trying to undo the buckle or whatever you call the front piece lol. So far so good, happy with the purchase. I’ll update if I find it not working but I also have flea & tick drops on him as well. Update: 4-5 weeks later no ticks of fleas found on my boy. Doesn't really have a scent but says they last about 6 months.
