A: HNH 1628U-M is a door closer for swing doors.
It is not designed to work for sliding doors such as Eclisse pocket door.

Not sure why this product has negative reviews. It does it exactly what it claims to do. Its very well made and once installed properly is easy to adjust. Ive used this closer dozens of times for hidden doors. You will have to make some installation templates for routing out the jamb and top of the door. All of the information you need to determine if this will work for your application is right in the description. Overall this is an excellent product.
