## Description

The first FitFlop sandal was sold in 2007, after Dr. David Cook and Darren James (biomechanists at London South Bank University LSBU) collaborated with Marcia Kilgore (an entrepreneur and multi-tasking mum) to create the world ’s first muscle-activating flip flop. Built with simple sport y looking upper straps and an ergonomically engineered Microwobbleboard midsole, the concept was a phenomenal – and global – success. So when fans began to send feedback detailing how ‘fantastic’ FitFlop™ sandals made them feel (subsequent research at Salford University uncovered our Microwobbleboard technology had remarkable underfoot-pressure diffusing and shock attenuating properties), Kilgore decided to take this technology and weave it into a full, multi-occasion footwear collection. Now boasting two patent-pending technologies: Microwobbleboard and Biomimetix midsoles, FitFlop’s goal is to create fun, energizing, beautiful shoes that – when you wear them – make you feel like you’ve got the world at your feet.

Review: Put them on, you'll not want to take them off. - The most comfortable and fun shoe I've ever had. You don't usually find those two features together. Several years ago when Fit Flops hit the market there was only one place in town to buy them, they were kind of plain, and always at the listed price which seemed high for sandals. But they felt so good, I had to have them. I'm glad they are available everywhere, at lower prices, and in really fun colors with special details. I love the little ruffle at the top of these. I've had trouble finding comfortable shoes all of my adult life due to foot and back problems. I've been told to have good support and wear a little heal. I wear these day after day and walk a lot on pavement. No problem. I don't know how many pairs of Fit Flops I own. I always get compliments on them and enjoy running into other happy owners. The European sizing has always given me trouble in shoes. As is often the case, I went down a size.
Review: FitFlop Sandals ROCK!! - I've owned a few pairs over the last several years, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. The narrower foot bed of the newer "fancier" designs fits me just perfectly, and because they run a little large, I know a size 7 will fit my 7.5 feet beautifully. I suffered from plantar fasciitis for years, plus bad knees, hips, and back (thanks to all those years of being a dancer and waitress), and I work on my feet - FitFlops have totally saved me. I walked 5 miles in these yesterday and felt just great - what a treat to have pretty sandals that truly help me feel better!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love FitFlops
*by J***N on November 7, 2015*

I love FitFlops and have a huge array of them. I find that they are very comfortable in the summer and do not trip me up as other sandals sometimes do. I am happy that they have come out with such cool new designs and colors. This one was a beautiful raspberry that goes with a lot of things in my closet. My only complaint is that they do not come in half sizes. I just go up a size and walk on.
