It's like a MAC paint pot but better. And doesn't dry out. I have light to medium caucasian skin & blonde hair. My eyes are a greenish hazel & this really makes them pop & look brighter. I'm in my late 40's. I got shade 2 if this helps anyone. It was such a great deal as well. And the bottle will last a very long time because you use so little. I really like the packaging. It has a doe shaped applicator which I definitely prefer over a squeeze tube or similar. I can't find anything negative at all to say which is rare. Most products have at least one annoying thing but not Perricone No Makeup Eyeshadow. Review: This eyeshadow is lovely and buildable and can be used easily as a base. If you're looking for something that's vitamin enriched, good for skin health it's a really good option. I think it's easier to apply the shadow to the back of the hand first then use either your finger or a small blending brush as I find the applicator a little too big. When the shadow is on it looks very natural and subtle which is what I like. In days where I want a little bit extra glam, I pop on some eyeshadow directly on top and it works well. I can't say whether or not I've noticed a huge difference with skin as it is hard to tell after a short period of time and also considering that I have a skincare routine anyway.
