The whole material is flexible. Hope that helps. **Q: I'm interested in using a laser cutter with this material--is it compatible with most laser cutters?** A: I bought this at a hobby shop tried it on the laser at a makerspace not knowing it was made of PVC. The laser cut into it and I had it go two passes, but it also charred the surface making it black. I had to stop because it was flaring up and smelled weird.
