**Q: Can you plug headphones into it to practice quietly?**
A: The output jack on an electric guitar requires it be plugged into some type of amplifier. If your primary
goal is to use headphones, there are a number of headphone only amplifiers available for as little as $30. Check out the SONICAKE Guitar Headphone Amp Plug on Amazon. I have one and use it for travel or if I just want to play on my front porch w/o attracting too much attention. The one mentioned has a rechargeable battery, a reasonable controllable delay effect and an aux jack to play along with backing tracks, or audio/video from your phone. I carry it in a gig back pouch with an aux cable and a cheap pair of earbuds so even if I bring my guitar to the lake, I can hear it w/o disturbing anyone.

**Q: Is it a bone or plastic nut?**
A: Plastic

**Q: How loud is the humming noise?**
A: Had to purchase new strings. The strings that came with the guitar were not very good. Have some difficulty keeping this guitar tune.

**Q: Will this take a fender neck and hardware?**
A: I don't know for sure, but everything seems to be standard sizing.  I replaced the nut with a bone nut for Fender strat type guitars and it fit perfectly, so I think you'll be okay with other upgrades as everything looks to be the same.
