Review: IT WORKED! - I am NOT a skilled mechanic. I am 71 years old and what little I know about mechanics I figured out on my own or got help from buddies (in the old days) or found a solution on Google or You Tube (now a days). This was my problem: I recently bought a Texas Pride 16,000 GVWR 22' + 2' lowboy trailer with tandem axles and drive over fenders. It was time to add a little grease to 6 fittings. Everything went well on the first 5 fittings. I could not pump any grease into the last fitting (of course). I have been tinkering with stuff for a long time and I know how to use a grease gun. But I have never had a fitting to not accept grease. I removed the fitting (remember this is a brand new trailer) and cleaned it up. The fitting was deformed. That made me wonder if this spot had been greased at the factory. (Turns out it had not.). Anyway, simple fix. Off to the auto parts store to purchase my zerks. Got home, installed a new fitting and NOTHING. So I removed the fitting and put in another new one. Still nothing. I put a fitting on the grease gun and it took grease (as long as the fitting wasn't screwed into the trailer. So grease was definitely able to pass from the grease gun through the zerk. Time to check out You Tube. I found a video about the Original Grease Buster. I read reviews, compare it to knock-offs and thought this thing couldn't possible work in my situation. I let it sit overnight and tried it one more time in the morning and to my surprise, it finally broke loose. This tool saved me a whole lot of time and aggravation changing out parts as well as the cost. Don't give up, give the penetrating oil some time to work.

**Q: "make sure this fits. by entering your model number."  am i supposed to enter the model number of the grease fitting? where do i find it?**
A: It works on all standard SAE and Metric fittings, there is no need to beat on it hard, the technique is to allow the penetrating oil to work its way in by "tapping" on the plunger end with a light hammer to simply help force it in a little quicker. It may not work on everything, but we have had good luck with this tool so far.

A: Hello Daniel,Thank you for your question!  The Grease Buster does not come in a case.

**Q: does this tool unclog pins that are plug ?**
A: The Grease Buster Tool is designed to unclog stubborn grease fittings

**Q: Can you remove the zerk and attach directly to the machine where the zerk screw in, thus bypassing the zerk? mine in clogged beyond the "new" zerk.**
A: you probably could do that, I don't remember if the thread pitch is 1/4-28 or 1/8" pipe but if I were you I'd take your zero out and run a drill bit in as far as possible to remove old dry grease then use this tool loaded with WD40 or ATF and let it sit over night and repeat. This tool works well but give it time to penetrate.  Good luck!

Bought a cheap knock off from a tool warehouse store. Did not work. So I spent the money on the original grease buster. Use kerosene in it and tapped it 20 times. Went and mowed and tried the buster again and it worked as advertised. Glad I bought the Grease Buster.
