Review: Does not work as advertised - The slicers are either too big or too small for a normal hotdog. As others have pointed out, the slicer tears the hotdog and results in hotdog chunks. The outside of the slicers are too smooth. Any moisture makes it very difficult to hold and stop rotating. The outside should have ridges or something to allow holding the slicer securely. Great idea poorly executed.
Review: GREAT INVESTMENT - At first I thought this was a waist of money ONLY because I wasn't using it properly!! It's a bit challenging at first. I realized that when your spiralling your hot dogs bend the hot dog as your threading it through. Hold your finger/thumb in front of the tip of the plastic so as not to carve into the hot dog as your spiralling it through and VUALA a perfectly spiralled hot dog. Got my husband using it and the kids just love how PERFECTLY spiralled their hot dogs are. This was such an awesome invention!!

The slicers are either too big or too small for a normal hotdog. As others have pointed out, the slicer tears the hotdog and results in hotdog chunks. The outside of the slicers are too smooth.
