**Q: is the 7th gen really 300 lumens? 3x brighter then the 5th and 6th gen?**
A: I really have no idea. I used them in the puddle lamps and turn signals in my 2005 Expedition mirrors and they were bright even in daylight. The puddle lamps lit up a nice white spot on the ground but I had no way to compare them to previous versions.
