What I like most is how bright the lights are and the multifunction of the headlamp. The headband is adjustable to your head/hat. I have not had a chance to take full advantage of the use of the lights to see how they function at different altitudes as well as how long the battery really lasts. Compared to the prices at Sports Chalet, this one was a steal. The quality of the headlamps appears to be of good quality and durable. The one touch control is very nice. I just keep pushing the button to get the desired light I want. So far, I a very happy with this product. The real truth will be told once I go on my trip. The brightness is super, and I really like that the lamp itself rotates from straight ahead to a more downward tilt to see my walking path -- we have critters to watch out for here that are best not stepped on. The elastic headband is a good thickness and has never been too tight. My husband teased me mercilessly until he used it one night when he checked the barn alone. I've never heard another peep.
