Regards, The Myosource Team. **Q: can this be mounted horizontally?** A: My best guess would be it can but it would not be very secure considering the mount needs to be on the stud and all of the screws are placed into the stud for secure placement. Basically, if you have at least four inches of wall width on a stud available somewhere, then there's zero excuses to not get some exercise in during the day. I LOVE THIS THING!!!!
